Knekting strings of thought
Whenever I write down ideas or thoughts on designing a feature or solution, I find myself wanting to write a new idea that branches off somewhere.
I don't want to write it below the current document as I'll forget that it's related or forget completely. I don't want to write it in a different document either as that disconnects the ideas and it's just a hassle to find later.
So in comes, Knekt, a weekend hack that let's you write vertically and horizontally. Create new paragraphs vertically with the Enter key and variants with the Shift + Enter keys. If you like a certain variant more and you'd like to build more onto it, just create another vertical paragraph underneath that one.
